Tata Steel has booked a total of 75,000 t of mid-volume Goonyella coking coal at $449/t FOB in an e-auction conducted earlier today. The cargo is set to arrive by 20 June and has been booked from Sinomet. Global coking coal prices continue to remain elevated amid increased demand from Europe following sanctions by various countries on Russia.
