Australia: BHP coking coal mine workers to go on strike

BHP is facing potential industrial action over payment and job protection. Members of Australian manufacturing workers union and the electrical trades union (ETU) have voted to go on strike as workers are not satisfied with 1.5% yearly rise in pay amid an extended labour shortage in the mining industry due to pandemic. The workers also requested to increase job satisfaction.
