Australia: 6000 NAR grade coal prices fall by $30 from their peak

The Australian 6000 kcal/kg NAR grade coal prices have fallen by $30/t to $410/t FOB Newcastle as export capacities were returning back to normalcy after a scheduled maintenance shutdown last week. The recent fall in natural gas prices also contributed to this fall, as the EU has announced its market intervention plan to cap the sharp rise in LNG prices.
