Anglo American has temporarily suspended the Moranbah North coking coal mine in Queensland, Australia following a fatal accident. The company will be undertaking a full investigation of the situation and is focusing on applying critical controls and risk management. The Moranbah North coal mine has a total of 261 mnt of coking coal reserves, one of the largest reserves in the world.
