Steel shipments from AM/NS India in H1 CY’21 were recorded at 3.42 mn t, higher by 27% year-on-year. Steel shipments in Q2 were up by 1% q-o-q to 1.72 mn t. Higher overseas sales due to lack of domestic demand amid the second wave of the pandemic resulted in a marginal rise in exports.
