AM/NS India posts 23% increase in crude steel output in H1 CY’21

ArcelorMittal/Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has released its H1 and Q2 CY’21 results. Production highlights:

• Crude steel production in H1 recorded at 3.65 mn t, up 23.4% y-o-y..
• Steel production in Q2 stood at 1.83 mn t, stable q-o-q. Despite regional lockdowns and weaker demand due to the second wave of the pandemic, the company managed to maintain production levels, resulting in stable output in Q2.
