AM/NS India to increase pellet production capacity to 20 mn t pa

ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) is planning to increase their pellet production capacity to 20 mn t pa by the end of Mar’21. The company has a 8 mn t pa pellet plant in Vizag. Further, it is doubling its Paradip pellet plant capacity to 12 mn t pa from 6 mn t pa. The Paradip plant expansion is expected to be completed by Mar’21 and it will commence operations in the H2 FY’22, SteelMint learnt from credible source.
