IF rebar prices increased by INR 1,100/t d-o-d in the Raipur market today. The key factors behind the rise were increasing prices of sponge iron and billet amidst improved spot demand. Over 6,000 t of transactions in rebar were recorded in Raipur today. Prices in other markets, too, remained supported amid the upward trend in semi-finished steel prices, SteelMint notes.
