Wire rod manufacturers based in Raipur and Duragpur has reduced offers by INR 300-800/MT in a week’s time. Major price fall is recorded in Raipur by INR 800/MT, followed in Durgapur by INR 300/MT.
Wire rod and HB manufacturers based in Raipur are offering trade discount in the range of INR 500-1,500/MT last week, depending on the quantity of material lifting.
Currently in Durgapur, 5.5 mm wire rod and HB 12G are available at INR 25,300/MT and INR 27,000/MT respectively. Plants in Raipur are offering the same grade material at INR 26,400/MT and INR 28,600/MT respectively. Prices are basic.
Offers for 12G GI and 12G barbed wires are assessed at INR 32,000/MT and INR 33,500/MT in Raipur W-o-W. All prices are basic.
State owned Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is presently offering at around INR 34,500/MT(including excise duty, CST & freight) 6mm material FoR Punjab.
