Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited is offering concast billet in limited quantity. Billet prices are offered by the plant is hovering in the range of INR 21,900-23,300/MT; prices increased by around INR 2,000/MT against last price circular.
Meanwhile, offers for size 100*100 mm billet are assessed at INR 23,300/MT and for 150*150 mm at INR 21,900-23,100/MT.
However, in domestic market of Odisha 100*100 mm commercial grade billet is available at INR 21,000/MT by leading large manufacturers. As per the sources, NINL’s offers are higher amid prime grade material and available limited material.

Secondary Market
Offers Dip further, Buyers Cautious: Manufacturers have reported heavy selling pressure for billet in major markets. Thus, offers have further fallen by INR 100-600/MT against last day trades.
Today, offers for 100*100 mm billet in secondary market reached at INR 21,000-23,500/MT; was at INR 21,300-23,700/MT on 15 Oct’16.
Constantly falling billet price have cautious the rolling mill operators. According to sources, mill operators are not taking any interest on current offers of billet as they are in wait and watch mode to take position.
