Billet production in Ukraine might come down to 42,000 t for August on maintenance reasons of around 3 days, which is 6% less of July's anticipated number.
Exports in the coming month might be 10% less, to 36,000 t. Whereas, supplies might move up by a third, to 6,000 t. More than 50% of August exports orders have been already placed.
For the current month, Billet output is between 44,000-45,000 t and exports saw a drop by 4%, to 40,000 t. For manufacturing finished steel (long), Billet supplies was around 4,000-5,000 t.
Production of Billet rose by 26% y-o-y, to 2,32,000 t and exports by 77%, to 2,14,000 t in the first half of this year. But, supplies to rolling mill reduce by 59% to 26,000 t.
