According to preliminary data, Russian Billet production is unexpected to start the next month because of some technical issues.
Previous to this, production had stopped during the last week of April due to same reasons, which was resumed on the 8th of July.
Russia exports most of its Billet to Turkey and Far East.
For the on going month, it was expected that around 17,000-18,000 t of Billet shall be produced, which came to 10,000 t only.
Jan-Jun'12 production dropped by 39%, to 90,000 t in comparison to the same period last year.
