South Eastern Coalfields will conduct a spot e-auction for 166,000 t of non-coking coal on 20 March. It is the first e-auction under the new single-window agnostic e-auction policy where mines are clubbed into clusters, and bidders have to bid for a cluster, not mine. The offering is from five clusters, comprising 17 mines. The highest offering is from Bhatgaon cluster, at 80,000 t.
