ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has floated a purchase tender for 6,000 t of medium-carbon silico manganese (Mn: min 60%, C: min 2.5%, Size: 10-50 mm) from its Gujarat-based plant. The bid submission date is 18 Mar’23 and the delivery is scheduled at 2000t/month. According to SteelMint’s assessment on 9 Mar’23, MC silico manganese (53%) prices were at INR 87,000/t exw-Durgapur.
