- South Korean steel producers have adjusted their scrap purchase prices by KRW 10,000/t ($8/t) with effect from 7 Feb’23, as per a SteelDaily report.
- SeAH Besteel increased its scrap buy prices for all grades. However, POSCO is lowering its scrap purchase price by KRW 10,000/t only for its Pohang plant, Prices for Gwangyang remain the same.
