Indonesia: Steel billet exports down 8%, m-o-m, in Jul’22

Indonesia’s steel billet exports decreased marginally by 8.45% m-o-m to 115,503 t in Jul’22 against 126,163 t in Jun’22, as per customs data.
The Philippines was the largest importer with 46,204 t followed by Japan with 31,179 t.
Export volumes fell by 36% y-o-y to 1.13 mnt in Jan-Jul’22 as against 1.76 mnt in the year-ago period.
