Coal India Ltd has achieved the highest ever growth of 44.6 mnt in coal production in just a span of 5 months and 4 days (1 Apr-4 Sept’22). The company produced 259.6 mnt in the said period compared to 215 mnt in corresponding period last year. The company’s previous record growth of 44.5 mnt was seen for the full year of FY’16. Coal India is pursuing 700 mnt production target in FY23.
