Brazil: Pig iron exports fall over 30%, m-o-m, in July

Brazil’s pig iron exports fell by 31.10% m-o-m in Jul’22 to 0.28 mnt as against 0.41 mnt in Jun, as per customs data.
The USA was the major exporter at 0.23 mnt.
However, export volumes rose 28% to 2.09 mnt y-o-y in Jan-Jul’22 as against 1.63 mnt in the year-ago period.
