CIL subsidiary Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. (MCL) will conduct an auction for 2.2 mnt of coal on 12 Aug’22. Coal to be offered in the auction will comprise non-coking grades of G8, G12, G13 and G14, of which G12 and G13 constitute 780,000 t and 870,450 t respectively. Notably, no spot auction was held by MCL last month.
