JSW Steel had scheduled an auction for 256,750 t of iron ore fines and lumps today from its Nuagaon and Jajang mines in Odisha. As per sources, 31,600 t of Fe 54-55% fines and 27,650 t of Fe 59-60% fines were booked at the base price of INR 1,300/t and 2,000/t ex-mines, respectively, including royalty, DMF and NMET. Iron ore lumps (Fe 61-62%) remained unsold.
