India: MCL attains highest single-day coal dispatch in ongoing fiscal

Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) has registered coal dispatch at 0.59 mnt on 29 June’22, the highest dispatch in a day in FY23. The company also reported supply of 100 coal laden rakes for the day, of which 94 were allocated for the power sector. Till date, MCL has dispatched coal at an average of 0.54 mnt/day in June’22, up 23% y-o-y.
