South Korea: Steel billets exports rise over 50%, m-o-m, in Apr’22

South Korea’s steel billets exports rose sharply by 51.92% m-o-m in April 2022 to 30,488 t from 20,069 t in March 2022, as per data recently released by customs.
Japan was the major importer with 10,048 t in the month under review.
However, export volumes fell sharply by 61% to 75,385 t in January-April 2022 as against 191,971 t y-o-y.
