Crude steel output of China’s key mills increases in late April – CISA

In late Apr’22, the average daily output of crude steel at CISA-affiliated mills was 2.358 mnt, while the average daily output of key steel enterprises was 2.29 mnt, up 6.43% month-on-month. As per CISA data, the average daily output of pig iron in late Apr was 2.04 mnt at key mills, an increase of 4.35% m-o-m and up 1.06% on-year.
