Australian premium HCC FOB prices went down by $61/t in a single day at $460/t on 5 May. Meanwhile, Australian low-volatile PCI coal prices were at $420/t FOB, down by $45/t d-o-d. Prices tumbled after ArcelorMittal sold 36,000 t Peaks Down PLV cargo at $378/t FOB basis. Indian buyers moved to the sidelines amid volatile market conditions.
