China: Stainless steel exports rise over 30% m-o-m in March

China’s total stainless steel exports were recorded at 379,700 t in Mar’22, an increase of 34.80% m-o-m and 23.07% y-o-y.
Cumulative exports in Jan-Mar’22 were at 1.06 mnt, an increase of 21.99% y-o-y.
China’s nickel imports were at 2.15 mnt in March, a m-o-m increase 36.06%. Imports in Jan-Mar’22 totalled 5.7 mnt, a y-o-y decrease of 0.89%.
