China’s alumina export shipments rise by nearly 190%, y-o-y, in March

Exports of alumina from China in Mar’22 leapt higher by 187.6% y-o-y from 4,504 t in Mar’21 which, notably, included a 90-times rise in shipments to Russia, SteelMint learnt from sources. China exported 12,955 t of alumina in Mar, according to the General Administration of Customs, up 245% m-o-m as against 3,760 t in Feb’22.
