Coal India subsidiary Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) has signed two separate memorandum of understandings (MoUs) with Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) and IRCON International for the development of rail infrastructure projects to boost coal evacuation. MCL recorded the highest coal dispatches of 176.2 mnt among the CIL subsidiaries in FY’22.
