Taiwan: Steel billets imports fall 18%, m-o-m, in Mar’22

Taiwan’s steel billets imports fell by 17.85% in Mar’22 to 0.30 mnt as against 0.37 mnt in Feb’22, as per data recently released by customs.
Indonesia was the largest exporter with 0.08 mnt, followed by Japan with 0.06 mnt.
Also, import volumes fell marginally by 12% to 0.93 mnt in Jan-Mar’22 compared with 1.06 mnt in the same period last year.
