China: Steel inventories at CISA mills drop 3%, m-o-m, in March

In late-Mar’22, the steel inventory of key steel enterprises was 16.61 mnt, a decrease of 504,900 t or 2.95% compared with the previous month but an increase of 519,300 t from end-Feb, according to data from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA). Steel inventory increased 5.32 mnt from the beginning of CY’22 and rose 13.01% compared to the year-ago period.
