Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur have increased prices by INR 1,000/t d-o-d after opening at stable levels in the early morning. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 66,000/t exw. Prices remain supported on healthy prior booking orders and stiff raw materials prices. However, purchase enquiries continue to remain average at current high prices, which is forcing suppliers to offer trade discounts of INR 500-700/t, SteelMint learnt from sources.
