India: JSPL increases long steel prices by INR 2,000/t ($26/t)

Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. (JSPL) increased rebar and wire rods prices further by INR 2,000/t ($26/t) for Mar’22 deliveries, sources informed SteelMint. Effective prices:

• Rebar (12-32mm): INR 75,500-76,000/t ($983-989/t)
• Wire rods (5.5-6mm): INR 75,000-75,500/t ($976-983/t)
• Prices are on delivered Delhi basis, excluding 18% GST.
