India: Hindalco hikes aluminium ingots prices by INR 2,000/t ($27/t)

Leading aluminium producer, Hindustan Aluminium Corporation Limited (Hindalco) has raised prices of aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) on 19 Feb’22 by INR 2,000/t ($27/t) as against the price seen on 17 Feb’22.
Post-revision, the effective price stands at INR 284,250/t ($3,815/t).
Prices are showing an uptrend following the declining stock levels.
