SAIL will auction 4,800 t of steel grade pig iron (in 48 units) from Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on 18 Jan’22. At the previous auction on 12 Jan, 6,400 t of material was booked at a weighted average price of INR 40,000/t exw, as per SteelMint reports. Bid prices increased by INR 2,050/t in comparison with an earlier auction on 5 Jan.
