Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd. (GPIL) has increased domestic pellet offers by INR 300/t ($4/t) to INR 11,300/t exw ($153/t) from INR 11,000/t ($149/t) on 23 Dec’21. Other producers are offering at INR 10,900-11,000/t ($147-149/t) exw. Recovery in exports amid higher global iron ore prices and a few deals conducted in the domestic market have pushed up offers, SteelMint notes.
