SAIL auctioned around 52,000 t of low-grade iron ore fines (Fe 51.11- 57.25%) from the Dalli-Rajhara mines in Chhattisgarh. The auction failed to fetch any response from buyers. The due date for submission of bids was 7 Jan’22. The base price of the material offered was INR 2,500-2,600/t FOR, which includes royalty, DMF, NMET and additional premium. Later, the company withdrew one lot while the rest was offered at the auction.
