India: Major ERW pipe producer to cut list prices by INR 1,000-2000/t in end-Dec’21

A leading domestic ERW pipe manufacturer is likely to reduce its list price by INR 1,000- 2,000/t in end-Dec’21 amid falling HRC prices and weak demand. However, major pipe-makers are offering discounts and concluding deals without revising the list price. Current offers for base grade ERW pipe (25-125 NB, 2.2-6 mm thick) are assessed at INR 72,000/t exy-Delhi, INR 72,250/t exy-Pune, and INR 70,000/t exy-Raipur. Prices exclude GST.
