India: SAIL to auction nearly 10,000 t of pig iron from RSP

SAIL will auction 9,500 t of steel grade pig iron (in 95 units) from Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on 22 Dec’21. At the previous auction on 16 Dec, 4,800 t of material was booked at a weighted average price of INR 38,470/t exw, as per SteelMint reports. Bid prices increased by INR 2,320/t in comparison with an earlier auction on 9 Dec.
