Induction furnace route steel wire rod witnessed weak buying sentiments, while trading remained subdued in Raipur today, despite attractive discounts offered by resellers. Discounts increased by INR 200-500/t to INR 1,500-1,800/t d-o-d, while manufacturers kept prices stable at INR 47,400/t. Traders are very cautious about booking bulk volumes at higher prices, which resulted in low trading activity.
