US coal production for Nov’21 stood at 44.6 mn t, up by 7% against Nov’20 while on a m-o-m basis production remained unchanged, as per latest customs data. During Jan-Nov’21, the country’s total coal production stood at 492 mn t, an increase of 10% y-o-y. Production picked up amid improved demand and mining activities in the post-pandemic period.
