Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has floated a purchase tender for 1,800 t of high-carbon ferro manganese chips (Mn +70%) for its Salem Steel Plant in Tamil Nadu. Bidders are required to submit bids by 23 Nov’21. The bid-offer validity is for 70 days. SteelMint assessed ferro manganese (HC 70%) at INR 115,000/t exw-Raipur on 16 Nov.
