Western India-based Vedanta Resources had floated a tender for one rake of foundry grade pig iron for the northern region, yesterday (16 Nov). The tender received no bids despite reduction in the reserve price by INR 500/t to INR 41,800/t compared to the previous tender, which had a reserve price of around INR 42,300/t ex-plant.
- Pig iron prices in Punjab and Delhi have fallen by INR 700-1,000/t in Nov’21.
