Vietnam’s crude steel production reached 19.68 mn t in the first 10 months of 2021, an increase of 22% over the same period in 2020. Steel consumption in the South East Asian country stood at over 19 mn t during the period, an increase of 20% compared to Jan-Oct’20. Vietnam had recorded crude steel production at 19.5 mn t in 2020.
