Steel major SAIL has scheduled an auction for 4,000 t of prime basic grade pig iron on 22 Jul’21. As per sources, BSP has reduced pig iron production in the last two months. At the previous auction held on 10 Jul, buyers had booked the total quantity of 2,500 t of pig iron at INR 37,250/t exw.
