S.African coal RB2 (5500 NAR) portside offers have increased to INR 5,800-5,900/t as the API4 index opened at a higher level of $90/t. However, trades at these rates are yet to materialize as buyers from the sponge iron sector are showing reluctance in procuring at these levels. In a confirmed deal, one rake of RB2 coal has been sold at INR 5,600/t, ex-Gangavaram.
