Brazil: Manganese ore exports down by 52% m-o-m in Feb ’21

Manganese Ore exports from Brazil fell substantially by 52.18% m-o-m and 70.12% y-o-y in Feb ’21. The major reasons for the fall in exports are as follows: 1) High inventory at Chinese ports 2) Production cut at Brazilian manganese ore mines 3) Low availability of containers worldwide 4) Competitive pricing by South African miners.
