Imported scrap prices to Turkey have moved up by $5-7/t towards the starting of the week, sources have confirmed to SteelMint. A west Marmara steelmaker booked Europe based bulk scrap cargo recently. The cargo comprises HMS 1&2 (80:20) at $395/t CFR Turkey basis. Few more deals have heard that concluded at $396-399/t CFR levels.
