One of the biggest ferrochrome manufacturers of India struck a deal for 1,500 t at INR 96,000/t ex-works basis. Out of which, 1,000t was a bulk deal to a prominent stainless-steel manufacturer. Currently, the ferrochrome producers are unsure of their offer price after OMC increased the base price of chrome ore by 82% later evening. Production cost is set to shoot up and the ferrochrome price is likely to follow suit.
