Western India: Kalika Steel increases rebar offer by INR 500/t ($7)

Kalika Steel Alloys Pvt. Ltd, (Kalika TMT) – one of the major rolling mills in Jalna, western India has increased rebar offer by INR 500/t. Current 10-25 mm rebar offer now stands at INR 45,000/t exw, sources shared with SteelMint. Positive sentiments and healthy transactions in the finished steel market led to a significant hike in offers. The company has a production capacity of 40,000 t on a monthly basis.
