Imported offers of HRC to Vietnam have witnessed marginal hike of USD 5-10/MT in the beginning of the week amid upside in exports offers of HRC from Chinese mills.
Currently imported offers of HRC (SAE 1006) to Vietnam from China are heard at USD 615-630/MT CFR Vietnam against previous price assessment made towards end of last week which was at USD 610-615/MT CFR Vietnam.
Market sources highlighted that Chinese based major mill Benxi Iron and Steel is offering HRC (SAE1006 ) at USD 620/MT CFR Vietnam, up by USD 5/MT against the offers made by the end of last week which was at USD 615/MT, CFR then. The steel maker has the steel-making capacity of 14.4 MnT and is primarily into manufacturing of coils, sheets and plates.
However Rizhao Iron and Steel is offering imported HRC (SAE1006 ) at USD 615/MT CFR Vietnam.
Another major mill Baosteel is also offering HRC at USD 630/MT CFR basis.
Last week few deals were reported who bought owing to less inventories with them. However today not much deals were heard and market seems to be quiet.
