PELLEX, BigMint’s bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe 63%) index for Raipur increased by INR 250/t ($2/t) INR 10,900/t ($113/t) DAP. BigMint recorded deals for around 10,000 t concluded at INR 10,500-10,600/t exw.
India’s sponge iron prices increased by INR 100-550/t d-o-d across regions. Trade volume recorded at around 13,000 t.
BigMint’s billet index in Raipur increased by INR 400/t d-o-d to INR 43,550/t ex-works. The conversion spread from pellet-based sponge iron (PDRI) to billets for standalone induction furnaces in Raipur was assessed at around INR 16,000/t.
